Hello and Welcome
To The Tall Hipster! My name is Kiana and I'll be your lovely tour guide today. As many of you already know, plus size women is rapidly raising in the media and as a plus size woman myself, I'm slowly descent to be on that journey with them. I created The Tall Hipster in the Summer of 2013 because standing at 5'10 flat foot, weighting 250+, and having an unique taste in fashion with confident, people wanted to know how. How was I doing it? Simple! We're only young once (well maybe twice but whose counting) and only have one life (because simply we're just not cats), so why live life in a 4 x 4 box?!?! We as big girls can be as beautiful and confident as anyone else. All it takes is us and ultimately positive family and friends. I then took all that and threw it into a blog...YAY!
So, a little about me. I'm in my early twenties, born and raised in Southern California, and hate most condiments except BBQ sauce. I freaking adore fashion, hair, make-up, and music. I hate most mainstream plus size clothing store and manly shop thrift because it's rare to see someone with your outfit. I love taking duck lips pictures and can't leave the house without a bra on. Also I sometimes hate wearing shoes. But, as of right now, I'm currently working on starting a business and hopefully making it to the fashion world one day.
